KMPDU Announces 33 Job Openings; How to Apply

The Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council, known as the KMPDC, has recently posted a notice about 33 job openings available for eligible Kenyan candidates.

This council operates under the authority of the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Act, aiming to oversee the training and practice of medicine, dentistry, and community oral health within Kenya. Additionally, its responsibilities extend to regulating health facilities across the country.

The specific job vacancies are as follows:

1. Corporation Secretary and Director of Legal Services

2. Director, Compliance and Public Education

3. Deputy Director, Disciplinary and Ethics

4. Deputy Director, Strategy, Research, and Quality Assurance

5. Assistant Director, Risk Management and Quality Assurance

6. Principal Standards Officer (2 positions)

7. Principal Compliance Officer (4 positions)

8. Principal Disciplinary and Ethics Officer

9. Senior Assessment Officer (2 positions)

10. Senior Standards Officer

11. Assessment Officer (2 positions)

12. Risk Management and Quality Assurance Officer

13. Disciplinary and Ethics Officer (2 positions)

14. Standards Officer (2 positions)

15. Records Management Officer

16. Office Administrator (3 positions)

18. Assistant Disciplinary and Ethics Officer (2 positions)

Applicants interested in these positions must send their applications via email to recruitment@kmpdc.go.ke, clearly indicating the reference as “Ref: Application for the position of …….” The application should include a cover letter, an updated CV detailing educational background, professional qualifications, and relevant experience, along with copies of testimonials and contact details for three professional referees.

Certified copies of academic and professional certificates and a copy of the National Identity Card are also required.
