Kericho County Announces 65 ECDE Vacancies; How to Apply
The Kericho County Public Service Board is actively seeking qualified, motivated, and competent individuals to fill various positions within the Department of Education, Culture, Library, and Social Services. This recruitment aligns with Article 176 of the Constitution of Kenya and County Governments Act No. 17 of 2012.
Position: Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) Teachers (65 Posts)
Location: Various ECDE Centers within Kericho County
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct classroom instruction.
2. Act as positive role models, offering guidance, counseling, mentoring, and motivation to students.
3. Prepare reports related to teaching activities.
4. Ensure the safety and well-being of students.
5. Assist in organizing and facilitating play-based learning activities for students.
6. Foster the holistic development of students, covering their spiritual, moral, social, mental, physical, aesthetic, and emotional growth.
7. Oversee ECDE classes and maintain professional and administrative records like schemes of work, lesson plans, daily activity schedules, and attendance registers.

Requirements for Appointment:
1. Minimum of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) grade D+ (Plus) or KCE division IV at ‘O’ Level.
2. Certificate in Early Childhood Development Education provided by KNEC/Ministry of Education.
3. If you are registered with the Teachers Service Commission, please include your TSC number.
4. Attach a recommendation letter from the Headteacher of the respective school (as listed in the advertisement).
