Kenya and the Netherlands have reaffirmed their dedication to enhancing cooperation in multiple sectors following high-level political discussions. Prime Cabinet Secretary and Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, along with Dutch Minister for Foreign Affairs Casper Veldkamp, emphasized that climate change remains a pressing issue for both nations. They recognized the importance of working together on parliamentary engagements and broader international collaboration.

Boosting Horticultural Exports

During the discussions, both parties agreed to accelerate efforts to harness Dutch technology and innovation to boost Kenya’s horticultural production and export to the European market. A notable development was the increasing confidence Dutch companies have in Kenya’s business environment, as evidenced by the presence of over 90 Dutch investors accompanying the Dutch monarch.
