University Education and Research Principal Secretary Amb. Simon Nabukwesi has praised the manner in which KCSE candidates have conducted themselves in the ongoing exams.
While addressing students at Lions High School in Kisumu County, the PS said that no candidate has been found engaging in examination malpractice as the exercise entered day two of the 2nd week.
He urged candidates to remain focused till the end of the examinations and avoid carelessness and harmful behaviors which may derail their dreams of achieving the best results.
He reminded the students that the form 4 results will define their immediate future as they prescribe the move to the next level of education by either joining university, colleges, or Tvet institutions.
“I am encouraging you on behalf of the ministry of education to maintain your focus and avoid activities that will divert your concentration to enable you to achieve the best,” said.
The PS further challenged the candidates to ensure that they keenly select university courses they wish to pursue to allow them to get placement through the Kenya Universities and College Central Placement Service (KUUCCPS) as well as benefit from Government funding through the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
