KCPE Marking To Kick of Next Week as Results Set to Be Released On this Date

KCPE Marking Starts as Release Date Issued

The 2023 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) candidates can expect to receive their exam results ahead of the Christmas holiday season. Basic Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang announced this and mentioned that the marking of the exams will commence immediately.

The process of airlifting the exam papers to Nairobi for marking from remote regions has already begun after the papers were received in the exam containers. Additionally, Grade 6 learners who took the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) will receive their results, which will be ready around the same time as the KCPE results.

However, PS Kipsang emphasized that they will prioritize the marking and release of KCPE results to allow for early preparation for the transition to Form 1 next year. This means that children will have to report to school in January.

Parents will also be informed about the schools where their children will be admitted before the Christmas festivities.

KCPE Marking Starts as Release Date Issued

Kipsang assured that the government will take all necessary measures to ensure that the exam papers are marked and released within the stipulated timeframe. During the marking process, there will be two shifts to ensure its smooth and efficient execution.
