KCPE 2022 Top Candidate Scores 431 marks.

The top student on the KCPE in 2022 earned 431 marks.

Wednesday, at the release of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results for 2022, Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu stated that the best candidate received 431 marks.

He remarked that this was an improvement from the exam in 2021, in which the top candidate scored 428 marks.

There were around 1,244,188 candidates registered for the examination. The examinations were administered from November 28-30.

This is the second-to-last administration of the KCPE before the 8-4-4 system of education is eliminated from the primary school curriculum next year.

It is the first release of the KCPE examination for Machogo.
