Jadon Sancho posts a sincere message to Manchester United supporters After rejoining social media
Jadon Sancho sent an emotional statement on social media following his return to action in the EFL Cup on Wednesday for the first time in three months.
After some “physical and mental” issues, Sancho made his first appearance for United since October against Nottingham Forest and wrote an emotional message on social media thanking the fans. It was his first post on any site since late last year, when he removed all of his content.
Sancho appeared vital to Erik ten Hag’s rebuilding efforts early in the season, scoring two goals in Dortmund’s first five games, including a polished finish against Liverpool. Since then, his performance has declined, and he has been training alone since the World Cup, when he was cut from the Dutchman’s first-team plans.
The next Premier League match for Manchester United is against Crystal Palace, and Sancho will be aiming for additional playing time as he nears a full return to action.

Erik ten Hag asserts that Manchester United has the depth to compete on all fronts for the remainder of the season.
In January, United signed three players on loan: Jack Butland, Wout Weghorst, and Marcel Sabitzer. Other teams fighting for a spot in the top four were significantly more active in the transfer market, with Chelsea bringing in eight players and league leaders Arsenal bringing in four to bolster their title bids.
