Matt Turner, the goalkeeper for Arsenal, is inching closer to joining Nottingham Forest this weekend as negotiations progress.

Turner hopes to establish himself as the starting goalkeeper at the City Ground, even if they sign another defender.

The American will be eager to perform frequently and position himself to remain the nation’s number one.

Nottingham Forest required a new goalkeeper, while Arsenal needs to balance its books, so this trade makes ideal sense.
