How to download and print TSC P9 form online via Payslip portal
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) Payslip portal provides access to the TSC P9 form, a tax return form. When submitting tax returns for the relevant year, the form contains vital information.
Every teacher is required to file tax returns every year. Tax return failure is a criminal offense that carries a severe punishment.
One is required to have a P9 form that is generated by the employer in order to file the KRA returns.
Teachers were notified by TSC in April that the Tax Deduction Cards (P9 Forms) had been made available for download by all TSC employees on the payslip portal. This action was taken to make submitting returns easier.
A penalty of 5% of the tax due or Ksh 20,000, whichever is larger, is assessed for filing tax returns late. A 20% penalty of the unpaid tax is assessed for late tax payments.
How to download and print TSC P9 Form
To download and print TSC P9 form is simple and straightforward. Follow these steps;
- Log in to your tsc payslip portal (https://payslip.tsc.go.ke/login.php) by entering your TSC number and password.
- Once you have logged into your TSC Payslip portal click on P9s
- On tapping on p9s, you will be taken to your p9 form where you can download or print your form. The downloaded P9 form contains the following https://payslip.tsc.go.ke/login.php details;
- KRA tax PIN,
- Tax year,
- tax payer’s name,
- Employer (TSC) Tax PIN,
- TSC number, ID Number,
- KRA PIN and the teacher’s station code.
- The monthly tax dates (for the whole year),
- Taxable pay (Total gross salary earned by the teacher monthly),
- Pension earned (for retired teachers),
- Amount of PAYE deducted monthly (Pay Auto) and Monthly Relief (MPR).
Print the P9 form, and use the values on it to report your returns when filing your tax taxes.
