How to Check KUCCPS Placement Status After 2023/2024 Application
Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) is the sole body having authority from the Kenyan government to place students in higher learning institutions such as universities, colleges, TVETS, and polytechnics via the Kuccps portal.
All 2022 KCSE qualified students can use the KUCCPS application portal to select their preferred courses beginning in May 2023.

Following selection, kuccps will assess all degree and diploma courses chosen by all candidates and place them in various institutes of higher learning for government support.
After that, each student can access their placement results online.
Portal for Kuccps
Once Kuccps completes the selection process, all 2022 KCPE candidates will be able to view their placement.
Candidates can learn about their placements through the student portal by following the steps outlined below:

1) Navigate to http://students.kuccps.net/.
2) Sign in with the following information;
3) Username: (Enter your complete Index Number)
4) Year: (2022)
5) Password: (Use your KCPE index number or Birth Certificate Number)
After logging in, the student will see the following:
“Congratulations, then the university where you’ve been placed, and finally the course you’ll be taking.

PROVISIONAL PLACEMENT RESULTS FROM KUCCPS
After the first revision, students will be unable to view the universities/colleges to which they have been accepted.
This is due to the fact that KUCCPS will post a list of individuals who did not obtain placement for a chance in the second review of courses and colleges.

How do students find out if they have been placed or not?
Students are urged not to focus on the lengthy list of students who did not achieve placement.

To access the students’ site, go to https://students.kuccps.net.
Then, look at the dashboard. The following message would be displayed to those who were competitively placed;
“You have secured one of your choices provisionally, subject to approval by the Placement Service Board”.

This letter certifies that the student has been accepted into a course as well as a college/university.
