These actions follow a series of student-led demonstrations at various academic institutions, prompted by the prolonged delay in fund disbursement. In one instance, Machakos University students clashed with anti-riot officers and police officers while demanding action from the Education Ministry, resulting in road blockages and confrontations.
Similar incidents occurred in early October when Multimedia University students obstructed Magadi Road in Kajiado County.
