Govt wants to lock out Alcoholic Teachers from Employment
On Sunday, the personal assistant to President William Ruto, Farouk Kibet, is advocating for the drafting and implementation of a law that would make it illegal for teachers who drink alcohol to hold government employment. The proposal would prevent instructors from keeping government jobs if they consume alcohol.
While visiting an event at a school in Uasin Gishu County, Farouk made the connection between the necessity of the new law and the significant role that teachers play in serving as role models for children. He stated that instructors have a fundamental commitment to make sure that they are never under the influence while they are on school property. This was in reference to the fact that students look up to teachers as role models.
He gave Kimani Ichung’wah, the Majority Leader of the National Assembly, very clear instructions to draught and pass the required legislation.
Kibet stated unequivocally that the applicants’ drinking patterns should be the major focus of attention throughout the interview process if they are to be considered for teaching posts.
According to Farouk, the fundamental reason that students go to school is to get an education, which is usually hindered by the occasional drinking of alcoholic beverages by instructors.
Ichung’wah refrained from immediately certifying that the motion had been tabled for discussion in the Parliament.

When the Kikuyu politician was given the opportunity to speak into the microphone, he chose to comment on the significant role that Farouk plays inside the administration of President William Ruto.
“Without Farouk’s authorization, you will not be able to speak with the President. According to what he said, even Cabinet Secretaries are required to go via him in order to meet with the President.
During the Turbo event, Kibet disclosed the existence of local leaders who, in his opinion, had been deceitfully exploiting the parents of the children in their care.
He went on to add that these leaders routinely participate in photo opportunities alongside him and other powerful politicians. Con artists then proceed to swindle susceptible parents of significant sums of money by stating that they can facilitate job connections for their children while in possession of these images.
A second bus was given by Farouk as a donation to a school in Nandi County.
“There is hope for kids living in rural areas who are pursuing an education. According to what he said, it is the job of parents to see to it that their children are academically capable of competing with other people living in Kenya.
During the ceremony, Kibet encouraged students to refrain from getting married at a young age and disclosed that it is an issue in the region.
