Education Cabinet Sec. Ezekiel Machogu stated that the government is committed to a 100 per cent secondary school transition rate.

Wednesday, he stated during the release of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education results for 2022.

Machogu warned parents not to leave their children at home when Form 1 enrollment begin.

“All candidates whose results i’m releasing today will be admitted to Form 1 under the 100 per cent transition policy,” he said.

The CS stated that the government will employ all applicants.

There were around 1,244,188 candidates registered for the examination. The examinations were administered from November 28-30.

This is the second-to-last administration of the KCPE before the 8-4-4 system is eliminated from the primary school curriculum next year.

It is the first release of the KCPE examination for CS Machogo.
