Government Announces ICT Job Vacancies Across Ministries
Information and communication technology (ICT) job openings have been posted by the Public Service Commission (PSC) for a number of ministries and government agencies.
The Commission is inviting qualified people to apply for the positions of Secretary for ICT Infrastructure (1 job), E-Government and Digital Economy (1 position), and Security and Audit Control (1 position), according to a formal statement made on August 1st.
Ten ICT Directors are being actively sought by the Commission for the State Department of ICT and Digital Economy. 34 directors in all will be assigned to various ministries and state departments.
“During the interviews, serving officers shall be required to present original letters of appointment to the current substantive posts.” PSC notice is partially read.
The submission of academic and professional certificates that had not been attained before the advertisement’s closing date is discouraged.
How to Apply
Interested and qualified individuals are urged to submit their applications ONLINE via the employment portal or the Commission website, www.publicservice.go.ke.
During interviews, shortlisted candidates will be expected to present original copies of their National Identity Card, academic and professional transcripts, and certificates.

The Public Service Commission is dedicated to putting into practise the provisions of Chapter 232 (1) of the Constitution, which deal with merit-based hiring, representation of Kenya’s diverse communities, and providing equal employment opportunities to men and women, members of all ethnic groups, and people with disabilities. Applications are encouraged from those with impairments, marginalised people, and minorities. PSC declared.

Any sort of canvassing will result in instant disqualification.
Applications must be received by the Commission by no later than 5:00 p.m. (East African Time) on August 21, 2023.
