Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag hopes to replace Cristiano Ronaldo with Dusan Vlahovic by capitalizing on Mikel Arteta’s setback and securing Dusan Vlahovic’s signature.
The Arsenal manager was anxious to sign the Serbian international in January of last year, but Vlahovic ultimately chose to sign with Italian powerhouse Juventus. While things eventually worked out for the Gunners when they bought Gabriel Jesus last summer, missing out on Vlahovic cost them top four last term in the opinion of some.
As a result of Ronaldo’s departure at the end of last season, Manchester United still lacks a long-term alternative to lead the line. The Red Devils have loaned striker Wout Weghorst from Burnley for the balance of the season, but it is unlikely that he will continue beyond that point.

Accordingly, individuals at the top of the United hierarchy have reportedly turned their focus to Vlahovic. The 23-year-old is reportedly eager to leave Turin and would likely be interested in a move to Manchester.
