‘Embarrassing’: O’Hara can’t believe Tottenham haven’t got rid of 23-year-old already

O’Hara finds it embarrassing that Tottenham has not yet released the 23-year-old.

Jamie O’Hara stated on talkSPORT that he cannot believe Japhet Tanganga is still with Tottenham Hotspur.

The talkSPORT and Sky Sports analyst made the remarks about Tanganga after observing him play for Tottenham against Leicester City on Saturday at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League.

Former Premier League champions defeated Antonio Conte’s squad by a score of 4-1.

Tanganga began the contest for Spurs.

The 23-year-old Englishman initially occupied the right side of a three-man defense.

JAMIE O’HARA ON TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR’S JAPHET TANGANGA O’Hara: “I don’t know how Tanganga is still playing for Tottenham.”

The analyst said, “It is as if he is wearing ice skates whenever he defends. It’s humiliating.”

Jamie O’Hara is, in our opinion, being a bit too tough on Tottenham Hotspur defender Japhet Tanganga.

Tanganga did not do very well against Leicester, but he is not a poor defender.

And he’s just 23.

It is difficult for any player to perform well if he does not receive a continuous stretch of games.

And Tanganga has experienced injury issues as well.

Therefore, we believe that we should not write him off just yet.

This season, Tanganga has made two Premier League appearances for Tottenham.

This season, the teenage defender has also appeared as a substitute in the UEFA Champions League and twice in the FA Cup for Antonio Conte’s squad.

Journalist shares ‘standout’ Daniel Levy claim

This week, Spurs officially released their financial figures for the fiscal year ending in June 2022.

The Lilywhites’ overall revenue increased by 22.7%, surpassing their previous figure of £361.9 million in 2021 to a far more encouraging £440 million.

Tottenham enjoyed their first full season following the COVID 19 epidemic and visibly benefited from the return of fans to their spanking new, state-of-the-art stadium.

However, in a message from Levy, the club president acknowledged that Tottenham’s operations may be significantly enhanced.

Using Twitter, journalist Barclay highlighted a “interesting” paragraph from Spurs’ financial statement written by Levy.

He said:

The Spurs’ financial results for the year ending June 30, 2022 make for an interesting read. “We have felt and continue to feel the financial effect of supporting player purchases that have not gone as planned,” Daniel Levy said in his statement to me.
