CORRECTION OF THE FEE STRUCTURE FOR FIRST YEAR STUDENTS JOINING THE 2023 COHORT AFTER DEFERMENT

We hereby wish to inform all first year students who fall within the aforementioned category that the University Management Board (UMB) convened for its 612th Meeting on the 6th of September 2023, and during this session, the following directives were issued:

First year students who were initially admitted to Egerton University in the academic years 2022/2023 and preceding years but had to defer their studies due to a variety of reasons, and are now resuming their academic journey as part of the 2023 cohort, are reminded that they will continue to be governed by the previous funding model.

Consequently, their tuition fees shall be calculated in accordance with the original fee structure they were provided with at the time of their initial admission to the University.

In light of this announcement, we kindly advise students falling within this category to proceed with the re-download of their admission letters. These newly obtained admission letters will accurately reflect the applicable old fee structure, ensuring clarity and transparency regarding the financial obligations associated with your education.
