Education stakeholders hold talks on higher education reforms
Over 100 prominent figures in the field of education from various regions of the country are scheduled to convene in Nairobi on the 23rd of September for an important gathering. The purpose of this gathering is to engage in extensive discussions concerning the most effective practices in higher education.
This noteworthy event, known as the ReImagine education Conference, is primarily focused on fostering collaborative and problem-solving approaches to educational reform in Africa.
Organized by the African Leadership University (ALU), the conference carries the theme “Developing Africa’s Next Generation of Leaders” and is set to take place at the Radisson Blue Convention Centre in the bustling Upperhill district of Nairobi. This theme underscores the imperative for educators at all levels to prioritize problem-solving education, recognizing its pivotal role in addressing the multifaceted challenges that Africa faces.
The event is expected to be graced by the presence of key education figures such as Education PS Belio Kipsang, Vice Chancellor Joachim Osur of Amref International University, and CEO Veda Sunassee of the African Leadership University.
ALU’s Director of Marketing, Katya Nyangi, emphasized the extensive preparations underway for this conference. She stressed the timeliness of these preparations in fostering a collaborative dialogue centered on innovative learning models that can effectively incorporate Africa’s most pressing challenges.

According to Katya, “We are fully prepared for the upcoming ReImagine Roundtable Event in Nairobi this month. We’ve witnessed significant interest from education experts, and we anticipate hosting a diverse array of experts who will drive discussions on innovative education, a critical component in addressing the complex challenges of our world today.”
In addition to facilitating networking among the diverse group of attendees, which includes educators, counselors, and education stakeholders from various parts of the country, the conference aims to forge meaningful connections that will elevate educational standards to new heights.
