Education reform report to be released, Today – Machogu
The eagerly anticipated report from the Presidential Working Party on Education Reforms (PWPER) will be given to President William Ruto on Tuesday.
CS education The statement was made on Monday at the Kenya School of Government during the delivery of the 2022 KCSE university placement results by Ezekiel Machogu.
He claimed that the report included a number of recommendations for the education system.
The CS added that the president would reveal the report’s finer points but did not provide them.
The report on the Presidential Working Party will be made public tomorrow. As we implement changes in the various facets of education, there is a lot in that report,” Machogu added.
There have been quite a few recommendations made, and some of them have already been put into practise, especially the first one, which was to house our junior secondary school in the existing primary schools.
We also have ratings recommendations, which will be made public tomorrow, especially in regards to the quantity of running spaces at the CBC levels.
Ruto appointed the members of the Presidential Working Party on Education Reform in a gazette notice dated September 30, 2022, with notice number 11920.
In order to establish its terms of reference for the reform of the Kenyan education system, the team sought input from the general public and other sector players.
PWPER has always been willing to hear the opinions of any and all interested parties, including private and public institutions.
