Education PS Kipsang Has Assured This Year’s Examiners of Prompt Payment

No Delay For This Year’s Examiners Pay- Kipsang

The Principal Secretary of Education, Belio Kipsang, delivered a significant address today as the Kenya Certificate for Primary Education (KCPE) exams kicked off. In his message, he not only extended his best wishes to the candidates but also provided an assurance of the exams’ integrity.

Kipsang emphasized the importance of allowing children to experience their childhood without seeking shortcuts that might jeopardize their future progress. He stressed that the ongoing examinations should not be a subject of speculation based on social media trends.

Regarding the examiners, the PS made an important announcement, assuring that this time around, teachers involved in marking the exams would receive their payments before the year’s end. He urged unity and collaboration among those involved, especially the examiners, as they transition from one phase to the next.

Kipsang expressed the Ministry’s commitment to ensuring timely remuneration for their efforts, saying, “We give our assurance that we are adequately prepared to make sure that you receive what is yours this year.”
