KCPE and KPSEA Results to Be Released On this Date
The Principal Secretary for Education, Belio Kipsang, has announced that the results for the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) examinations will be released before the Christmas holiday season.
During a briefing, Kipsang expressed his gratitude to all parties involved for ensuring a smooth examination process and emphasized that the grading and marking of the exams have already begun, with a focus on meeting the set deadline.
A total of 2.6 million candidates participated in these national examinations, with approximately 1.4 million taking the KCPE exams and about 1.2 million sitting for the KPSEA exams (Grade 6). PS Kipsang assured that the Ministry of Education is committed to ensuring a successful transition for every candidate to the next level of education.

Kipsang also highlighted a decrease in teenage pregnancies this year, attributing it to empowerment efforts directed at parents, and expressed satisfaction with the reduced cases during the 2023 examination cycle.

It’s important to note that this year’s cohort represents the final group to take the KCPE examinations as the education system transitions to the full implementation of the Competence-Based Curriculum (CBC) in primary schools.
