The Ministry of Education has disbursed Ksh2.8 billion and Sh6.5 billion to primary and secondary schools respectively.
Education Cabinet Secretary Professor George Magoha yesterday stated that the funds were sent during the week. Magoha, who addressed journalists when he commissioned 3 classroom blocks at Sagam Secondary in Gem, Siaya County, maintained that secondary schools would get the remaining half of the funds in due time.
“The remaining half for secondary schools will be sent,” said Magoha.
