Mysterious Death of Nursery School Boy
His mother,Mary Wanjiru Njuguna claims that she had prepared her son for the day, accompanied him to Milima Mitatu Early Childhood Development Center where she dropped him for school as usual.
Little did she knew that that was the last time he would see his son ,Joseph alive.Later that day Miss Wanjiru received a call from one of their neighbors informing her that their son had fallen I’ll and was taken to Molo sub county hospital for medical attention.
She claims that on arrival, she found his sons teachers who were about to leave the facility. They were unwilling to speak to her at the beginning but after a while they directed her to the hospital bed that her son was lying.
“I went straight to the bed that they directed me and was shocked to find my son lying dead, unresponsive.The doctor then broke the news to me that he was dead on arrival,”the distraught mother said.
Her son who left home happy and healthy ,is now dead.She asked the teachers what had killed his son but all she got for an answer was silence.

She later claimed that one of her neighbours, who was among the first eyewitness to the scene said that her son hung from the school’s fence, suffocated by knitted hat he was wearing during the 10am break.The neighbour also had school going children in the same institution.
According to a report filed by Joseph’s teachers at Molo Police station,the child had passed on due to health complications,a claim that the family refuted saying that they child was in perfect health therefore such a claim would be untrue
The parents have a parallel filed a report, demanding probe into the case suspecting probable negligence by the school.
Joseph’s body lies at the Molo Sub County mortuary awaiting post mortem.
