The educational system is widely regarded as one of the most important components of any national economy. It is the responsibility of every government to ensure that every school is adequately staffed and supplied with the materials and supplies necessary to operate efficiently.
The Ministry of Education is in charge of planning all of the different school programmes, and it is also the agency that decides when the beginning and ending dates are.
The contemporary academic calendar dictates that all primary and secondary schools in Kenya will be closing on the twelfth of August for an extended break beginning the following month.
This vacation disruption will continue until the twenty-seventh of August, 2023, after which point all primary and secondary schools will reopen for term three, which is the very last term of each academic year.
