A class six pupil is being held by police in Kakamega County after allegedly killing a classmate over an ugali and Kunde.
After murdering his classmate, the 14-year-old boy dumped his body in the nearby River Simakina in Navakholo, Kakamega County.

According to Richard Omanga, OCPD Navakholo area, who confirmed the incident, the 10-year-old boy was stocking his family’s cattle when he was attacked by a classmate.
According to reports, when the class six boy returned home from school, he was informed that the food he was supposed to eat had been eaten by a classmate.
He then tracked the boy down and struck him in the head with a blunt object, killing him on the spot before dumping his body into the river.
When he arrived at school on Friday morning, he informed his teacher that he had killed his classmate.
The school authorities notified the police, and the suspect directed them to the location where he had dumped the body, where they discovered the deceased’s lifeless body lying in the water with serious injuries.
The body was taken to the mortuary at Kakamega Referral and Hospital while investigations into the case continue.
