Chelsea striker linked to European heavyweights following failed January transfer; £15 million could enough Chelsea will try to sell important players this summer in order to balance their books.
According to Italian and Spanish media sources, both AC Milan and Atletico Madrid attempted to capture Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang during the winter transfer season.
The former Arsenal striker has been left out of the Champions League squad and was again absent as Chelsea drew with Fulham on Friday night. His absence prompted some eyebrows as Chelsea appeared to be in need of a natural scorer.
Aubamenyang was signed by former manager Thomas Tuchel, however Tuchel was fired hours after Aubamenyang’s arrival, and he has unable to recreate the outstanding form he displayed at Barcelona, which prompted his move to Stamford Bridge.
Aubameyang is okay with leaving the club in the summer and has not complained about being left out of Graham Potter’s 25-man squad to face one of his old clubs, Borussia Dortmund.

The Gabonese has also been linked to the MLS, despite the fact that he is only 33 years old and believes he can still play in Europe.
