Chelsea on Verge of Finalizing Personal Terms with £35 Million-Rated Arsenal Target

According to reports, Chelsea is nearing a personal terms agreement with Crystal Palace midfielder Michael Olise, a target for Arsenal.

Michael Olise has also been linked with a transfer to Arsenal. Ben Jacobs told Give Me Sport that Chelsea are close to agreeing personal terms with the midfielder from Crystal Palace. The French junior international has a release clause of £35 million in his contract.

    Jacobs reported to GIVEMESPORT:

“There is genuine interest. Crystal Palace don’t want to sell, but Olise is very close to agreeing terms with Chelsea. Obviously, players can agree terms have multiple clubs, so the most important thing in all of this is whether a deal can be reached with Crystal Palace, but he is a very concrete option for Chelsea. Therefore, he is one to watch over the coming weeks.”

The value of Olise is £35 million. However, Crystal Palace is negotiating a new contract with the French junior international to eliminate the release clause.

Meanwhile, Chelsea has the financial means to settle the debt. It remains to be seen whether Chelsea will be able to outbid Arsenal and acquire the player.

The 21-year-old operates as the right winger for Crystal Palace, where he had a remarkable season last year.

In all competitions, the young midfielder recorded two goals and eleven assists, and Chelsea could undoubtedly benefit from his attacking qualities next season.

However, he fills a similar position to Noni Madueke, and it will be intriguing to see how his arrival impacts the January signing’s playing time.

Next season, Madueke hopes to perform regularly at Stamford Bridge. Former PSV Eindhoven player is highly regarded in England and has a promising future. Next year, he will not want to remain on the bench at Stamford Bridge.

If Chelsea acquires Olise, Mauricio Pochettino must ensure that both players receive sufficient playing time.

Olise is a prodigious talent with a promising future, and he possesses the qualities to become a premier Premier League attacker.

He is versatile enough to also function as a central attacking midfielder.

Mason Mount has already left Chelsea, and Hakim Ziyech has been linked with a move away from the club.

If they want to return to the Champions League and contend for trophies, Chelsea must add more depth and quality to their attack.

Olise should be able to immediately make an impact at Stamford Bridge.

He is well-established in the Premier League and will seek to make an immediate impact.

The prospect of playing for Chelsea will be appealing to the player, and it remains to be seen whether the two organizations can reach an agreement at this time.

Currently, a personal terms agreement with the Arsenal target appears imminent.
