Chelsea in Advanced Negotiations to Secure €80 Million Real Madrid Target
As a result of Karim Benzema’s departure, it is no secret that Real Madrid currently lacks options up front.
Joselu is the club’s only accomplished striker, and he is currently on loan from Espanyol for the season. Alvaro Rodriguez, 19 years old, is the only other recognized center forward on the team.
Carlo Ancelotti has experimented with a 4-4-2 formation this preseason, with Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo playing as a duo up top. However, this does not feel optimal because both perform better when flying.
Real Madrid could therefore use a center forward at this time. In recent months, they have also been linked to numerous strikers, but it does not appear that they have made a serious approach for any of them yet.
Dusan Vlahovic has been affiliated with Real Madrid intermittently for months.
However, Chelsea now appears to be his most probable destination.

Fabrizio Romano tweeted that Chelsea have resumed negotiations with Juventus via intermediaries.
A trade involving Romelu Lukaku and Vlahovic has been discussed once more.
On the other hand, GianlucaDiMarzio.com reports that Chelsea is receptive to including Vlahovic in the transfer of Lukaku to Juventus.
However, no agreement has been reached on the economic parameters of the deal.
It remains to be seen if such an action will actually occur. Chelsea is reportedly eager to part ways with Lukaku this summer, but nothing has occurred as of yet.
In addition, the Blues could benefit from another striker option.
However, if Juventus were to acquire Lukaku, they would have to release Vlahovic first.
Thus, an exchange could be advantageous for both parties.
