Chelsea Graham Potter hypothesis emerges after former Bayern Munich boss spotted at Stamford Bridge
Potter only joined the club in September, but his future has been uncertain due to the Blues’ inability to climb the Premier League table. Chelsea fans have a conspiracy theory that Todd Boehly is planning to replace Graham Potter with Germany national team head coach Hansi Flick.
The Blues returned to Premier League action Friday night after a two-week absence, but their 0-0 draw with Fulham prevented them from gaining ground on their top-four opponents. Mykhailo Mudryk, Enzo Fernandez, and Benoit Badiashile all started from the beginning, whilst Noni Madueke made his debut after being substituted in at halftime.
Potter’s inconsistent tenure in west London has continued, with only one victory in the previous seven matches across all competitions. In the race for the top four, the Blues are now nine points behind Manchester United and Newcastle due to their draw with their London rivals.

Despite a troubled start to his tenure as manager, the board has reaffirmed their confidence in Potter beyond the current season. However, fans have formulated their own idea over the 47-year-future old’s at Stamford Bridge.
Yesterday, Flick was photographed at Stamford Bridge accompanying a club official. The former Bayern Munich head coach watched Timo Werner, Ilkay Gundogan, Kai Havertz, and Antonio Rudiger in play during Manchester City’s 1-0 loss to Bayern Munich last season.
The 57-year-old has been Germany’s head coach since 2021, but following their poor World Cup performance, his future is uncertain. Flick has won two Bundesliga titles, the Champions League, the DFB-Pokal, and the FIFA Club World Cup.
However, Havertz was the only German in action in yesterday’s match, and many have predicted that he may replace Potter if the Englishman fails to find success at the club. Here are some of their comments from social media…
@EbereCFC: Yo!! Hansi Flick was in our match last night. If you think he came to watch Havertz, u must be a joker. What are they cooking behind the scene this time?
@Iimocfc: Hansi Flick was at Stamford bridge yesterday, he is sending us signs, i hope Todd is getting the signs/
@Ayize011: I DON’T REALLY KNOW HOW YOU WILL THINK ABOUT THIS, BUT HANSI FLICK IS CFC NEXT MANAGER, I SEE NO REASON FOR HIM BEEN IN CONVERSATION WITH A CHELSEA OFFICIAL IN STAMFORD BRIDGE.
@Amirulsimps: Hansi Flick to take over after the Euros.
@sports_yeller: Hansi Flick to Chelsea, Potter to England, Tuchel to Germany. LET’S GO.
@BluesSW6: We need an elite coach, Hansi Flick would be perfect for the job and a long-term project.
@Eleniyan93: But why is Hansi Flick at the stadium yesterday???…. Boehly should just act accordingly.
@DebbyChelsea10: Hansi Flick was in attendance today, maybe to replace Potter.
@23nerd
