Chelsea Eyes Promising 19-Year-Old French U-21 Talent for Signing
Since the club’s new owners took over a year ago, Chelsea has been actively pursuing the signing of a number of rising talents.
It appears to have been one of their objectives to acquire a large number of the world’s most promising youth players, while simultaneously investing in the club’s future.
Many of these players will be sent out on loan to develop, but the most recent 19-year-old that Chelsea is interested in would almost undoubtedly be for the first team because he is THAT good right now.
According to an exclusive report by Si & Dan Talk Chelsea, the Blues are interested in acquiring Lyon winger Rayan Cherki, who has represented France at the Under-21 level.
Another source, Bobby Vincent of Football London, has now verified Chelsea’s interest and stated that they have been scouting Cherki alongside Malo Gusto, who is a Chelsea player.
