However, recent developments have brought disappointing news for teachers. According to a report in the Daily Nation, TSC, under the leadership of CEO Nancy Macharia, has rejected transfer requests from non-local teachers in the North Eastern Province (NEP).
Local teachers in the region had expressed their desire to relocate due to security concerns. Nevertheless, their employers have insisted that they must remain in their current positions for a longer period before any transfers can be approved.
This situation reflects the ongoing challenges faced by teachers in different regions.
