Arsenal Wenger’s Unearthed Advice to Bukayo Saka Last Year Revealed
Arsenal Wenger is one of Arsenal’s most recognizable figures, having served as manager for twenty years.
The Frenchman departed the club in 2018, while Bukayo Saka was not yet a member of the club’s first team.
Under Unai Emery, the attacker eventually joined the club, and under Mikel Arteta, he has remained a key member.
The Spanish manager is reaping the benefits of giving the young player numerous playing opportunities, and it is to the player’s credit that he continues to develop.
Last year, when Wenger visited the club, Saka had the chance to converse with the legendary manager. He did not pass up the opportunity to gain new knowledge.
Tim Lewis, executive vice president of Arsenal, has now revealed what Saka requested of the Frenchman.
“It was great to take Arsene down to the dressing room,”
Lewis revealed to The Telegraph.
“Bukayo [Saka] didn’t know him but he called him ‘boss’ immediately.
“He said, ‘Boss, how can I improve?’ – [and] Arsene very dryly said, ‘I think you could use your right foot a bit more’.’
A Simple Arsenal Opinion
Since making his debut with our first team, Saka has been one of our finest players, and he continues to improve.
With this report, it is not surprising that he continues to improve, as he appears to be a player who strives to learn from the greatest whenever he has the opportunity.
