Article 237, Section 1 of the Constitution establishes the Teachers Service Commission as a Constitutional Commission. In alignment with its responsibilities and following the Career Progression Guidelines for Teachers, the Commission is inviting applications from qualified teachers for the following positions:
TSC Advertisement No. 59/2023 (C2-C3): Senior Teacher I
Regular Primary School, T-Scale 8 – 3,040 Positions
Eligibility Criteria for Appointment
To be considered for this grade, a teacher must meet the following requirements:
1. Have a minimum of three (3) years of service as a Senior Teacher II T-Scale 7.
2. Maintain a satisfactory performance rating in the performance appraisal process.
3. Demonstrate the ability to supervise, mentor, and provide professional guidance to fellow teachers.
4. Comply with the provisions of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.
5. Fulfill any additional requirements that the Commission may deem necessary.

Note:Candidates in Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASAL) regions and Hard-to-Staff counties, with at least two years in the current grade, are eligible to apply.
