Another Form 3 student is in Custody for Killing a School Guard in Vihiga County. The 18-year old student from Nyang’ori Boys Secondary School in Vihiga has been placed in Police custody after he allegedly hit and killed a school guard.
Statements indicate that the student in question attacked the guard by the name Willy Mukonambi with a rod, hitting him several times on the head before he was saved by his co-workers.
He was later rushed to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
A police report demonstrates that the student had become unruly, punching his fellow students, an act that pushed the guard to intervene, before the student turned on him.
The student is currently in lawful custody and is expected to be charged with murder.
