Article 237 (1) of the Constitution establishes the Teachers Service Commission as a Constitutional Commission.
In line with the Career Progression Guidelines for Educators, the Commission invites suitably skilled instructors to lodge applications for the positions listed hereafter.
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is happy to declare openings for the role of Head Teacher (Regular Primary School) under Advertisement No. 56/2023 (C4-C5).

Prerequisites for Nomination:
To qualify for this position, candidates need to fulfill the following conditions:
Experience: At least three (3) years of service as Deputy Head Teacher II at TSC Scale 9.
Performance Evaluation: Demonstrated commendable performance rating in the performance evaluation procedure.
Leadership Proficiency: Established capability to efficiently oversee, guide, and offer professional assistance to fellow educators.
Honesty and Ethics: Must meet the standards specified in Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution, concerning integrity and ethical behavior.
Extra Conditions: Satisfy any other criteria as determined necessary by the Commission.
Special Consideration:
Applicants who have worked in the present rank for a minimum of 2 years and are positioned in Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASAL) as well as Hard-to-Staff counties are entitled to apply.
