A damaging video reveals that Marc Cucurella behaved as if Mykhailo Mudryk did not exist during Chelsea’s match with West Ham

Fans believe Marc Cucurella intentionally delayed passing to Mykhailo Mydryk during Chelsea’s Saturday match with West Ham.

The Blues were quite impressive in the opening exchanges at the London Stadium, with Enzo Fernandez assisting Joao Felix on Chelsea’s opening goal.

Graham Potter’s team, though, was forced to settle for a draw after former Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri equalized for West Ham.

Some Chelsea supporters were dissatisfied with the performance of £63 million newcomer Marc Cucurella, who was booed when he was replaced by Ben Chilwell in the 67th minute.

And a video showing his subpar performance has been produced, concentrating notably on Cucurella not passing to Mudryk.

The Ukrainian international made an impressive Premier League start against Liverpool, but was substituted at halftime against Fulham following a bad performance.

Cucurella repeatedly passed the ball backwards instead of finding Mudryk and allowing him to strut down the left wing, as evidenced by game footage, even though Mudryk displayed a great deal of promise in his most recent appearance.

Mudryk was always available, but Cucurella almost always chose the easier route, much to the anger of Chelsea fans.

It appears that Mudryk was irritated by Cucurella’s inability to locate him, as he initially liked an Instagram post criticizing his performance before later unliking it.

In his news conference, manager Graham Potter defended Cucurella and encouraged the team to “be united and assist him.”

He stated, “Of course, fans are entitled to their opinion; they just want the club to do well. However, as I stated in the previous press conference, I do not believe Marc is in his greatest form.

“However, he has also been part of a team that has maintained a clean sheet at Anfield and against Fulham.

“In the summer, I know because I was at the selling club, there was another club that were interested in Marc.

“From a points view in the Premier League, they are a good club, so Marc hasn’t become a bad player at all but some players can go through bad times so we need to stick together and help him.”
