pupil nurses injuries in his privates following an assault by teachers
A primary student from S.t Augustine Mukumu Boys Primary School in Kakamega county is suffering from serious injuries in his private parts that that has almost made him immobile.
This is after the class 14-year-old pupil received a merciless beating from four teachers for being in possession of a mobile phone with 20
other pupils.

As the head prefect of the school, the class 8 pupil met the alleged ruthless beating more than other students as a sacrificial lump.
“Since I’m head boy I was beaten thoroughly than everybody else.” Said the boy adding that when he tried to resist lying down he was beaten until he fainted.
Due to the beating, the child has suffered various bodily injuries and is unable to work properly prompting his parents to seek special medication for him.
The family has since then reported the matter to the police whilst calling on the respective authorities including the minister of education to
take action against the incident.
The teachers at the accused institution have since then declined to comment on the matter and efforts to get comments of the alleged matter from the area TSC officers have been futile.
The debate on corporal punishment has continued to create a rift between parents and the minister of education led by CS George Magoha who has always rooted for corporal punishment to tackle what he says is the increasing unruliness from learners of this century.
Early this year the education boss wanted corporal punishment to reintroduce in schools to stem away run away indiscipline among students.
