Government Finally Announces Amount to Deduct From All Kenyans’ Salaries
The amount of money that will be deducted from the paychecks of all Kenyans who live inside the borders of the country has finally been determined by the government of Kenya.
On this day, May 24, 2023, the government of Kenya informed every single Kenyan citizen, by way of the Housing Principal Secretary Charles Hinga, that they are required to contribute money to the Housing Fund.

The government of Kenya has stated that there will be a variety of methods for deducting the amount of money that will be taken out of the salaries of Kenyan citizens on a monthly basis.
According to the announcement made by the government of Kenya, the maximum amount that can be deducted from a Kenyan citizen’s monthly pay is Ksh 2,500. This is the case for folks who work for the government and receive a sizable income on a regular basis.

Additionally, the government has announced that persons living in Kenya on low salaries, of which there are many, will have Ksh 1,000 deducted from their paychecks on a monthly basis. The money saved as a result of this reduction will be transferred to the Housing Fund.
