Manchester United’s Final Bid for Midfielder Declined- Club now waiting for Red Devils ‘relaunch’

Fiorentina are waiting for Manchester United to ‘relaunch’ for midfielder Sofyan Amrabat after their ‘last offer’ for the Morocco star was ‘rejected’.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the midfielder’s status “remains uncertain” at this time.

Erik ten Hag is believed to be interested in bolstering his midfield and has identified Amrabat as the man he wants.

United have been linked with a move for Amrabat throughout the summer.

Manchester United have focused their efforts elsewhere, first on a deal for goalkeeper Andre Onana and then on a deal for striker Rasmus Hojlund, so a deal has not yet been finalized.

With the first completed and the second near to completion, there has been a sudden acceleration in terms of Amrabat, and Gazzetta now reports that a bid has been rejected.

They make no mention of the ‘last offer’ made by those in command at Old Trafford, only that it was deemed inadequate by Fiorentina and therefore rejected.

The Italian club is currently awaiting a’relaunch’ from Manchester United for the player, necessitating a ‘decisive thrust’ from the Red Devils in order for the transfer process and the player’s move to Old Trafford to begin in earnest.

It is not stated whether Manchester United is willing to do so at this time, but it appears that their initial efforts have not been sufficient and they must do more if they want Amrabat this summer.
