Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta beats Chelsea great Jose Mourinho to set a new Premier League record.
In the history of the Premier League, MIKEL ARTETA is the first Arsenal manager to be selected manager of the month THREE times in the same season.
The trophy was presented to the Spaniard after his Arsenal side earned seven points from three games to maintain their pursuit of a league championship for the first time since 2004.

And the Arsenal manager now has more manager of the month honours than Jose Mourinho and even Mauricio Pochettino, a former Tottenham player (4).
However, he has a ways to go before he catches Wenger’s total record of 15 goals.
The former Arsenal boss is not even at the top of the list.
This is because Sir Alex Ferguson won an astounding 27 titles while at United.
But it will be for naught if Arteta cannot guide North London to a fourth Premier League title.
And their next hurdle is a Saturday road trip to Everton, where they will face Sean Dyche in his return to management.
Arsenal are heavy favorites to win, but Goodison Park has not been a favorite hunting ground for them in previous seasons.
Since a 5-2 win in October 2017, they are winless and have lost three of their previous four trips to Merseyside.
